It is so important to plan for integrated pest management. A trick that I use is to put reminders in my calendar to keep track of when to conduct the next set of varroa alcohol washes, when to take off treatments, and when to do a follow-up varroa count.

In your plans, include what items you need order so that you have materials to measure mite loads and treat at the times that you need them.
